You are at a perfect age to start BJJ! Most people who train in BJJ start when they are in their teens, or early 20’s, but at 24, you are definetly not too old to start!
Here is a link to the different belt rankings of Judo according to country:

You’re not to old at all! The latest you could start is like 70 and the belt ranking in judo is the same as BJJ

In 2002 I was talking with Joe Moreria and he told me about a guy at Top Team Brazil who had just gotten his black belt at 65. So I’d have to say it depends on the individuals physical condition. But lots of guys a a bit nervous about starting in their 40s and 50s. I say go for it.

Age isn’t the problem. If you can move, you are fit enough to do start martial arts.
The colour of the belts for the ranks can differ.

I don’t believe that there’s any such thing as too old for martial arts. I didn’t take up martial arts until I was almost 28, and a fellow student of mine is in her 60’s.
And in my experience, belt rankings can depend a bit on the specific school.

You are most certainly not too old. I only started training at the age of 39 (wushu and wing chun). Go for it.
