i almost missed this question.
its an interesting one, but also a load question.
any kata represents your style all your fighting techniques, tactics, breathing, stances and so forth come from kata. without proper understanding of the applications even the best kata is useless. you need to understand all its little intricacies, this can take decades on just one kata.
asking what the best kata is, like asking which is the best style, and there is no best style so there is no best kata.
to me kata is the style it defines it, without kata you dont have a style
there are several kata that are powerful and elegant. but how are you diffing power, power as in strength, technique, internal, external, etc. there are several types of power.
it also depends on what level of understanding you have of kata, you can have a simple break down of it or a very advanced one.
really i dont think i could just pick one kata for this it would be several.
