What happened to all James Bond’s little gadgets?

James Bond used to have all these nifty little gadgets that helped him out of tough situations. And he used his wits instead just his fists. Why did they change James Bond from an intellectual who outsmarted the bad guys into a tough guy fighter type? If I wanted to watch that type of movie, I’d watch Van Damme or Steven Segal. I think the new James Bond is cool, but the writers need to make him use his wits more instead of just fighting all the time. Does anyone else miss all the gadgets or does everyone like the new tough-guy James Bond?

I definitely miss the fun, which they totally removed from the movies.Along with the gadgets, they took away the witty banter, the lighthearted fun and the totally ridiculous situations. For some reason, they decided to turn Bond into Bourne, which just annoys me. I like the Bourne films, but that’s not what I want when i go to a Bond film. Semi-realistic action has its place, but its place is not in a movie with 007 in the title.

the bond films really disappointed me i really love the little watches and pen gadgets and they spoilt the fun of it by getting rid of the gadgets
id like to know who you think was a better bond pierce or Daniel?
